About Los Tucanes De Tijuana
Los Tucanes De Tijuana left of Sinaloa. They went with course to the border. Four friends and a great dream. With their full suitcases of dreams, they left from their Sinaloense land, each one in different date, does various years and by chances of the destiny all they arrived at Tijuana, the city most visited of the world and there they met again, without being musicians yet, only with the illusion of learning that great art that already brought in the blood by inheritance of their family.
Already being all together in Tijuana, their uncles, “LOS INCOMPARABLES DE TIJUANA” gave their first instruments. Later with large sacrifices, Mr. Benjamín Gama and Mr. Juan Potenciano bought other instruments. That it was like they initiated an April 13, 1987 in the Bar Razza’ s Club in Tijuana, B.C. Mexico, baptized as “Los Tucanes de Tijuana” by a Cousin of them Rosario Quintero Gálvez.
In base to their creativity and musical themes, they built step by step an image and a form to be, thanks to which since 1995, they have become the Latin American Artists of greater influence and international impact. Their love songs, cumbias and corridos have been their better credentials to elevate to the first place.
