Lion Dancers Dazzle at Morongo Casino
The M&M Group was proud to book this weekend’s Casino floor entertainment at Morongo Casino Resort in Cabazon, California. The M&M Group provided Lion Dancers for the Casino floor and all its patrons and guests. Although the history and specific origins have been lost in the mists of time, most historians believe lion dancing began in the late Han Dynasty, when lions were brought to Northern China from Central Asia as gifts for the emperor. From then on representations of the beast began to be incorporated into existing traditional dances and are still celebrated today for the Chinese New Year.
