This past Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at the dazzling Starlight Theater Pala Casino Spa Resort, The Bar-Kays came into Pala, California to perform some of their greatest hits such as “Soul Finger”, “Son of Shaft”, “Boogie Body Land” and many more! The Bar-Kays reigned as one of the top R&B outfits of the ’70s. The original Bar-Kays were a Memphis instrumental combo who scored an R&B hit on Volt. They were formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1966.
