Angela Aguilar Nominated for Grammy Award!
In 2012, The Grammy Foundation added a new category of award called the “Best Regional Mexican Music Album.” It adds to their long list of awards handed out at the annual Grammy award show. In the award’s inaugural year, The M&M Groups own Pepe Aguilar took home the award. Now, six years later, his daughter and up and coming star Angela Aguilar is nominated for the same award. Just this month at the BandaMax Awards in Mexico, Angela won the Rising Star award. She now hopes to continue the momentum by winning the “Best Regional Mexican Music Album” award with her album Primero Soy Mexicana.
